On the occasion of the 33rd National Day for Helping the Disabled, Care & Rehabilitation Expo China (CR Expo) 2023, hosted by the China Disabled Persons' Federation and organized by the China Assistive Devices and Technology Center for Persons with Disabilities and the Beijing Disabled Persons' Federation, will be held from May 21st to 23rd at the Shougang Exhibition & Convention Center in Beijing.

As China's largest and most influential specialized expo on domestic and foreign assistive device products and technologies for the disabled, disabled elderly people, and other persons with disabilities, as well as medical, rehabilitation, and elderly care service institutions, CR Expo has been held for 15 consecutive sessions since 2007.

The exhibition this year will be held concurrently with the Rehabilitation International (RI) Centennial Celebrations under the theme "Towards the Next Century: Innovation Driven, Win-Win Collaboration, Greater Well-Being". The total exhibition area is 25,000 square meters with 5 exhibition zones: walking and mobility aids, prostheses and orthoses, rehabilitation facilities, barrier-free facilities and elderly care, and communication rehabilitation/low vision. More than 300 enterprises from 14 countries and regions, including China, Germany, the United States, and Japan, will participate in the exhibition. Over 30 concurrent events will be held during the exhibition, such as the promotion of innovative achievements in assistive devices for the disabled.

Since its inception, CR Expo has continuously enriched its exhibition content and innovated its display methods. This year, a specialized exhibition of the RI Centenary Anniversary will be held for the RI Centennial Celebrations to introduce the centennial history of RI. The specialized exhibition will be visited by domestic and foreign guests attending the RI Centennial Celebrations. By fully demonstrating the development achievements of China's assistive aid industry, the specialized exhibition will further build a platform for domestic and international exchange and cooperation in the field of disability and promote international cooperation in rehabilitation to a higher level. The exhibition will display a large number of new products and new technologies of intelligent assistive devices, such as intelligent walking robots, flexible exoskeleton robots, intelligent bionic hands, intelligent dexterous prosthetic legs, brain-computer interface robotic systems for hand rehabilitation, 3D immersive intelligent rehabilitation systems, real-time captioning glasses, eye control system, movsound bionic ear, etc.

During the exhibition, activities to promote the innovative achievements of assistive devices for the disabled will be held, providing more than 30 work seminars, academic exchanges, and technical training on different topics for exhibitors and professional technicians visiting the exhibition. The exhibition will contribute to the self-reliance and self-improvement of domestic assistive device technology and facilitate the industrial corporation and technological progress of assistive devices. At the same time, the exhibition will continue to take its public-welfare responsibility for helping the disabled by holding activities such as rehabilitation knowledge popularization, assistive device experience, and special offers on assistive device products. It will also actively promote knowledge and service policies of assistive devices, thus providing high-quality services to the disabled and disabled elderly people.
